So if you have large FPGA than it is 10 times easier when you have different colors for different net. ![]() So, for vias you have to use lets say 0.25mm hole.Īnother stupid problem is lack of ratsnets color per net. Let's say that your BGA pitch is 1*1mm and you want to use low cost 0.3 mm hole via, than the via top is about 0.55 mm and because there is no via stackup adjustment your via has the same geometry in all layers and in the GND layer that will make a hole in GND because vias are close together. ![]() ![]() This is a situation where Kicad is not so good.įirst problem with BGA is there is no via stackup adjustment. ![]()
